Anthony Yannella, 25, of West Haven and Milford, CT, passed away unexpectedly.

Anthony, a proud graduate of Kappa Kappa Psi Nu Omicron and an Eagle Scout, had an indelible impact on everyone he met. He was a beloved member of his community, an avid student of cybersecurity and networks, and a dedicated friend to many. Anthony’s legacy is one of kindness, warmth, and dedication to service.
Born and raised in West Haven and Milford, Anthony’s academic and personal achievements reflected his passion for making the world a better place. A senior majoring in Cybersecurity and Networks, he was known for his intelligence, ambition, and commitment to his studies. He dreamed of using his skills to serve his country, planning to work for the government after graduation.
In every aspect of his life, Anthony demonstrated a generosity of spirit. His friend, Kristie Vasko, shared that Anthony always remembered her birthday, without fail, offering a simple but heartfelt wish every year. “He had such a kind heart and a way of making people feel remembered,” she said. “I wish I had more time to share laughs and conversations with him.”
Beyond academics, Anthony’s connection with others defined him. He lived by a code of integrity and compassion, striving always to give back, whether through his work with Kappa Kappa Psi or his involvement in Scouting. He had an innate ability to make others feel valued and seen, a gift that many will remember fondly.
Anthony’s sudden passing has left a hole in the hearts of all who knew him. His family and friends are devastated by the loss, but take comfort in knowing that Anthony is now at peace, surrounded by love.
Anthony is survived by his family, friends, and countless loved ones who will carry his memory in their hearts. As his friend Kristie put it, “May God give you comfort and surround you with His love.”
