The community of Enon, Ohio, is heartbroken following the tragic loss of Nevin Vince and Natalie Daly, two beloved Greenon High School students who died together in a devastating car accident.
According to reports, the accident occurred when a driver entered Interstate 70 eastbound going the wrong way and struck the car carrying Nevin and Natalie head-on. The collision caused their vehicle to catch fire, tragically claiming both of their lives. They were only 18 years old.
Nevin Vince, a senior at Greenon High School and a standout goalkeeper (#98) for the school’s varsity soccer team, was admired for his leadership, dedication, and calm strength both on and off the field. His teammates described him as hardworking, talented, and full of quiet confidence. During his junior year, he helped Greenon’s soccer team build its record and spirit with determination that inspired everyone around him.
Outside of school, Nevin worked at The Last Queen restaurant in Enon, where he was remembered as a bright presence and a cherished team member. The Last Queen shared a moving tribute:
“Nevin joined our team about two years ago, after calling us out of the blue to ask if TLQ was hiring. From the start, he was hard-working, kind, and carried himself with a relaxed confidence that made him instantly easy to like. Our small community feels this loss deeply. Nevin made our place brighter, funnier, and better. He was simply a gem, and we will miss him dearly.”
Natalie Daly, Nevin’s girlfriend, was also a student at Greenon High School. Known for her kind heart, adventurous spirit, and deep love for family, friends, and animals, Natalie’s warmth and compassion touched everyone she met.
Family friend Allison Carpenter shared a heartfelt message:
“Natalie, I want you remembered as the most beautiful, kindest, adventurous soul. You loved your friends, family, and animals so much. You will always be my beautiful redhead. I hope your daddy was there protecting you in his arms. You will never be forgotten, baby.”
The tragic loss of Nevin and Natalie has left the Greenon community shattered, with students, teachers, and families mourning two young lives taken far too soon.
A candlelight vigil in loving memory of Nevin and Natalie will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at 7:00 PM at Greenon Stadium. The vigil will bring together friends, classmates, and community members to honor their memory and the love they shared.
